Hi Lynne, 

It was so good to be in attendance at the Media Conference this morning.  Just a great job by all concerned, and exciting to get the initial messaging about "The Housing Answer" out!   

Ottawa has an affordable housing crisis:  we all know the problem, it is exciting to work together on the answer!  The Housing Answer campaign urges the City of Ottawa to use the savings from social service cost uploads to contribute at least $15 million per year to an affordable housing and supportive housing fund.  Thanks for including this information in the media conference this morning. 

I am attaching a one page information sheet, prepared by Ray Sullivan from the Ottawa Social Housing Network, which outlines the key points of "The Housing Answer" campaign.  Would you please distribute this via the listserv.  The more folks who hear and support this message, the stronger we will all be! 

Working together for the real opportunity to create sustainable housing !
