Dream of Owning Your Home?

Habitat for Humanity National Capital Region (Habitat NCR) is accepting
applications until March 3, 2011 from low-income working families who may
not qualify for a conventional mortgage.



You may qualify if:

*	Your total family income (before taxes) is between $40,806 and
$61,182;
*	You are living somewhere that does not meet your family's needs;
*	You are steadily employed, but can't afford or can't obtain a
conventional mortgage;
*	You are ready and able to contribute 500 hours of sweat equity to
help build your home and participate in other Habitat NCR projects and
community activities



It's easy to apply:

*	Go to our website (www.habitatncr.com) & download the application,
*	Attend an information meeting -

*	Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 7:00PM: Montgomery Legion Hall, 330
Kent St., Ottawa, K2P 2A6
*	Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 7:00PM: Royal Canadian Legion, Orleans
Branch 632, 800 Taylor Creek Road, Orleans, K1C 1T1
*	Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 10:00AM: Eastview Legion Hall, 294 Cyr
Ave., Ottawa, K1L 7N7

*	Submit the application,
*	Deadline March 3, 2011



Habitat NCR a volunteer-based, charity that builds simple, decent homes for
low-income, working families. They sell the homes they build to qualifying
families with an interest-free mortgage. Habitat achieves its mission by
partnering with Habitat homeowners, corporate sponsors, donors and
volunteers.

 

Since 1993, HFHNCR is proud to have provided affordable and safe housing in
the Ottawa-Gatineau area by building 36 homes and renovating 5 other homes.
