This is what Dan wants posted to the List Serve… Can you help me post it? I’m a little confused. Do I just send it out as an email? Or I have to log into the list serve? (see email below)

Dear YSB-ers:

There is a bit more than one week left until the YSB team takes to the streets to raise money for YSB’s HIV/AIDS programs. I want to personally invite you to register <http://my.e2rm.com/TeamPage.aspx?teamID=218531&langPref=en-CA&Referrer=http%3a%2f%2fwww.aidswalkottawa.ca%2fdonate.htm> as a walker, or donate <http://my.e2rm.com/TeamPage.aspx?teamID=218531&langPref=en-CA&Referrer=http%3a%2f%2fwww.aidswalkottawa.ca%2fdonate.htm> any amount you’re able to.

Why not sponsor the entire team <https://secure.e2rm.com/registrant/donate.aspx?EventID=69573&LangPref=en-CA&teamID=218531&Referrer=http%3a%2f%2fwww.aidswalkottawa.ca%2fdonate.htm> ? Your support goes directly to HIV/AIDS and Hep C education programs through the YSB Young Women’s Drop-in, the YSB Sexual Health Advisory Group, prevention/education activities about HIV/AIDS at health fairs, and special events aimed at educating the community.

YSB’s HIV/AIDS Education program relies heavily on the funds raised every year through the AIDS Walk for Life. Since we began participating, we’ve managed to raise over $33,000.

DID YOU KNOW?
At the 2011 AIDS Vaccine conference in Thailand on September 13, scientists announced that a Thai trial <http://www.cbc.ca/news/interactives/aids/> of an experiment has produced an effective vaccine against the AIDS virus. Even though the findings were specific to the type of HIV in Thailand, it means that a cure is on the horizon. With your help, we can get there, we can make a difference in these young people’s lives.

Can’t make it out?
If you’re in a position to do so, I’m asking that you consider making a donation. Click here <http://my.e2rm.com/TeamPage.aspx?teamID=218531&langPref=en-CA&Referrer=http%3a%2f%2fwww.aidswalkottawa.ca%2fdonate.htm> to make a donation online, or call Taryn Walsworth at 613-241-7788 for cash or cheque donations. Remember that every amount counts.

Remember there will be prizes for top fundraisers, like a game of 9 hole golf with me, Dan Sabourin and lunch with our Executive Director, Joanne.

**Everyone is invited to walk with us at the Scotiabank AIDS for Life Ottawa. Join us on September 24 at 7 pm at Marion Dewar Plaza – right in front of City Hall, (registration for walkers starts at 5 pm).**

You can also ask your friends and family to help support us by asking them to make a donation on your behalf. Please forward this email.

Thank you all for your past and continued support.
