Hello Everyone,

 

Ottawa Salus offers independent living environments with minimal community support for adults (and their families) who have a severe and persistent mental illness. 

I am writing to you today for your help in filling a two bedroom vacancy.

Eligibility for Salus housing is as follows:

-           be Canadian citizens, landed immigrants, or have refugee status

-           be 16 years of age or older

-           have a severe and persistent mental illness

-           have a mental health support worker who will provide long-term portable and flexible services (Case Management or ACTT)

-           be able to meet tenant obligations

-           be willing to work collaboratively with other tenants and support workers

-           be homeless or at risk of becoming homeless

-           require rent geared to income housing

 

If you know of a client and their family who would qualify for a two bedroom apartment located in the west end of Ottawa, please have them complete an application with the Registry.  A copy of the application is available from www.housingregistry.ca.
