Please consider the attached letter and circulate it widely. 

 

The Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa is a signatory on the Dignity for
All letter to the Premier of Ontario Kathleen Wynne asking that she put
adequate, affordable housing at the top of her agenda at the upcoming
Council of the Federation meeting in Niagara-on-the-Lake. 

 

We invite individuals and organizations on our listserv to send a supporting
letter to the premier before the Council of the Federation begins its
meeting in a week`s time.

Hi everyone, 

 

This morning we sent the letter you endorsed to Premier Wynne, CC’ing all
provincial and territorial colleagues as well as the Prime Minister,
opposition party leaders and Dignity for All campaign members.  Please see
the attached final versions of the letter in both English and French.  They
are open to circulation at this time and will be posted on the Dignity for
All website.

 

Our next steps are sending out a press release next week and encouraging
other organizations to write supporting letters to their respective
premiers.  You may also see an email from the Dignity campaign asking
individuals to write to their premier as well.  Please share all messages
widely as the meeting of the Council of the Federation starts in a week’s
time.

 

Thank you for your endorsement – let’s hope we can get some media coverage
and a response from the meeting.
