Ottawa Homelessness Fundraiser

A luncheon for family and friends

Saturday, April 20, 2013, 3:30 to 5:30pm

Yangtze Restaurant

700 Somerset Street West, Ottawa

Doors open at 3:30 pm, Meal served at 4:00

Presented by a group of men from the community 
with the support of the Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa

 

This is the 2nd year of the Ottawa Homelessness Fundraiser. Mike Coe from the executive committee of the ATEH Steering Committee is working on the fundraiser. To reserve your seat(s) or table, he asks that you email Neil Knudsen at nknudsen at meridianlocate.com.

 

The Fundraiser is a great opportunity to be part of a broad community effort to end homelessness in our city.  Ticket options and other details are in the attached poster.

 

100% of funds raised will support a Triple “A” Homelessness Strategy: 

−        1/3 to the Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa to raise Awareness of homelessness. 

−        1/3 to Daybreak for the provision of transitional housing Assistance to homeless people. 

−        1/3 towards Action on homelessness contributing to the YMCA-YWCA’s Second Stage Housing for Youth program 

 

It’s a fun event which hopes to show how people from across the community can be part of the solution in ending homelessness.
