Hi friends,



Just four more days to the launch of Housing Opens Doors<http://www.housingopensdoors.ca/> in Ottawa!



The actual doors<http://www.housingopensdoors.ca/index.php?lang=en#campaign> will be set up from 9am to 5:30pm on George Street near The Bay.



We need some big strong volunteers to help with set-up (6:30am) and tear-down (5:30pm). So if you're an early riser with a strong back, please contact info at housingopensdoors.ca<mailto:info at housingopensdoors.ca> to volunteer!



Can't volunteer for those times? That's Ok - but put it into your calendar to come visit and ring to ring those bells! We have a great set of speakers lined up for noon.

Colleagues and friends,





Something pretty exciting is launching in Ontario this month: the Housing Opens Doors<http://www.housingopensdoors.ca/index.php?lang=en> campaign.







I'll bet all of you have witnessed the positive change that affordable housing can make in people's lives. Good housing leads to good health, stable housing leads to success in school and jobs. Safe and secure housing leads to a higher quality of life at all ages.  Better housing leads to a better Ontario.







You all know this, and many of you know this through first-hand experience. That's why we need you to be part of this campaign.

So here's what you need to do:







Step one: go to the campaign website (www.housingopensdoors.ca<http://www.housingopensdoors.ca<http://www.housingopensdoors.ca%3chttp:/www.housingopensdoors.ca>>) and ring the bell (then go to another computer and ring it again!)







Step two: come to the Byward Market on Saturday May 25 and ring the bells on our real live doors! Bring tenants & members, bring clients, bring your stories and bring a loud voice. We want to show the whole city and the whole province that housing really does open doors.
