This report is designed to clarify what Housing First is, and what is necessary to adapt the model for work with young people who are homeless. For those working in the sector, this report becomes a necessary tool to explain the essential features of Housing First for youth, and the necessity of putting in place an appropriate range of housing options and supports to facilitate the successful transition of young people to adulthood.
