Ottawa Homelessness Fundraiser: A Luncheon for Family and Friends

 

A community-minded, fun event to raise funds for addressing Homelessness and
interacting with the organizations serving the Homeless across Ottawa.

 

Saturday, May 10, 2014, 3:30 to 5:30 pm (meal served at 4:00)

 

Oriental Chu Shing Restaurant

691 Somerset Street West, Ottawa

 

Presented by a group of men with the support of the Alliance to End
Homelessness, the Fundraiser is a great opportunity to be part of a broad
community effort to end homelessness in our City.  The Luncheon is enormous
fun; the emphasis is social interaction connecting with family and friends,
and community spirit. The meal is great (with vegetarian options), and  the
event is for all ages: kids, teens, adults and grandparents.

 

100% of Funds Raised will support a Triple "A" Homelessness Strategy:

.         1/3 to the Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa to raise Awareness
of Homelessness. 

.         1/3 to St. Luke's Table for Assistance to Homeless People 

.         1/3 towards Action on Homeless Youth through Operation Come Home

 

Ticket Options

.         $100 per ticket - Adults ($53 Tax Receipt)

.         $50 per ticket - Students ($20 Tax Receipt)

.         $300 Family of 4 ($146 Tax Receipt)

.         $1,000 Tables of 10 ($533 Tax Receipt) 

 

At each table of 10, a guest (staff, Board members, clients) from an
organization serving the homeless will be present to share his / her story.
Organizers request that Table buyers reserve one place for these guests, and
would welcome individuals who wish to pay for the ticket of a guest
