Please join us on Wednesday, February 24th at the University of Ottawa
for a community forum titled “Housing First: International and Local
Developments”. 
 
This forum will feature Keynote Speaker Dr. Ronni Greenwood from the
University of Limerick and previously with Pathways to Housing in New
York City. Dr. Greenwood will share her research on developing Housing
First in Dublin, Ireland.   Following Dr. Greenwood’s presentation, we
will hear from researchers from the University of Ottawa, who will
discuss outcome findings from the local Supported Housing Addiction
Recovery Program – Evaluation (SHARP-E) located at Oasis, Sandy Hill
Community Health Centre.   As well, a panel  made up of researchers,
practitioners, and people with lived experience will discuss the
challenges of developing Housing First programs to transform the
homelessness service system.
 
Registration is free, and lunch will be provided.
 
The forum will be held at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Social
Sciences (FSS) Building Room 4007 from 9am to 1pm. 
 
More details about the day, including information about how to
register, will follow shortly.

Services at the University of Ottawa in partnership with the Ottawa
Branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Sandy Hill
Community Health Centre.
