** Network’s Event a Big Success
------------------------------------------------------------

Through presentations, kiosks, the release of an infographic, and several media stories, we made valuable information about suicide prevention available to people in Ottawa.

Thank you for attending, tweeting, networking, presenting, hosting a kiosk, volunteering, and speaking with the media!
7 Network partners were interviewed for news stories highlighting:
* Current research from the University of Ottawa by Ian Colman;
* Personal stories from youth at Youville Centre, Sacred Heart HS and the Glebe Collegiate Institute about their participation in Sources of Strength;
* Local data about youth suicide;
* Information about safeTALK and ASIST from the Canadian Mental Health Association; and
* An overview of the services offered by Parents' Lifelines of Eastern Ontario.

* CBC had a story about Sources of Strength on their afternoon radio show ‘All in a Day’.
* Unique FM did a radio interview with Ottawa Public Health about rates of suicide among youth.
