If you are advocating for green spaces/trees in Cities this might be of interest to you.

Tree Fest Ottawa 2017 is on this weekend (Sept. 23 & 24th at Brewer Park by the pond) in Ottawa.  They are celebrating trees through a host of activities, guided tours and workshops in the areas of art, nature, music, craft and play.  You can join a walk with Andrea Prazmowski to discover the benefits of the “Forest Therapy Experience” (e.g. can reduce stress, boost the immune system, offer a fresh perspective on life).  Ottawa Public Health will have a booth on the health benefits of greenspace and trees.
