OPERATION BIG TURKEY TO SERVE UP FREE CHRISTMAS EVE MEALS AT 6 LOCATIONS ACROSS OTTAWA!

Now in its 14th year, OPERATION BIG TURKEY will be serving delicious made-from-scratch Christmas Eve meals in communities across our lovely city of Ottawa. Christmas can be a challenging time of year for people who have no one to share it with or who can’t make ends meet. With the help of our many volunteers, OPERATION BIG TURKEY will serve 2000 dinners at six locations in Ottawa on Monday, December 24, 2018 (sites are outlined BELOW).

We are reaching out to ask your help in getting the word out. From word-of-mouth to social media, we’d greatly appreciate your help in promoting Operation Big Turkey within your community.

On Monday, December 24th 2018, volunteers will welcome and feed guests at the following locations:

·     E18hteen, 18 York Street, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM
·     Overbrook Community Centre, 33 Quill Street from 2:00 to 4:00 PM
·     Carlington Recreation Centre, 1520 Caldwell Ave from 12:30 to 2:00 PM
·     Ron Kolbus Centre, 102 Greenview from 3:30 to 5:30 PM
·     Jack Purcell Community Centre, 320 Jack Purcell Lane from 3:30 to 6:30 PM
·     Hunt Club-Riverside Park Community Centre 3320 Paul Anka Drive 2:30 to 4:30 PM

The dinner is open to anyone looking to enjoy a good meal with good company and a healthy dose of holiday cheer! No registration is necessary, guests are welcome to attend at their convenience.
