As you know, the Ontario government has cut the funding for Legal Aid Ontario by almost a third - and is preventing LAO from using any provincial funding for refugee and immigration services. This has an instant and devastating impact on vulnerable low-income Ontarians and refugees. CARL and the RLA have created a petition, among other advocacy initiatives: please take a moment to sign and, more importantly, share it with anyone in a Conservative riding, and any community groups, who may be willing to contact their MP or MPP about this important issue.
