Hello,

We would like to share a special upcoming community event that will benefit Salus Ottawa and The Royal. Two members of the community, Brenda Pichette and Patty Freel, have come together to plan a special fundraising and awareness event on Bell Let's Talk Day on January 29th. It will be a stimulating evening of discussion on mental health, associated stigma, and the families it affects.

Exploring Mental Illness & Stigma<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/exploring-mental-illness-stigma-tickets-86719896545> will take place on January 29, 2020. The event is sponsored by Bell Let's Talk and will take place at the Royal Ottawa Hospital. Distinguished speakers include Sharon Johnston, author and mental health advocate, Susan Doherty, author of The Ghost Garden, Dr. Nicola Wright, Ph.D, C. Psych, Psychologist, The Royal, and Jason Finucan, Author of Jason: 1 Stigma: 0. Light refreshments will be provided.
BONUS: All attendees will receive  complimentary copies of The Ghost Garden and Jason: 1 Stigma: 0 with their ticket.
