Ontario Works and ODSP can recover overpayments from their programs at up to 10% of the monthly benefit entitlement. If the person received CERB in error and has to repay those benefits back separately, then they might consider disputing OW/ODSP overpayments caused by receiving CERB in error.



Individual recipients can get free legal advice about social assistance overpayments from Community Legal Services of Ottawa.  Staff from partner organizations can also call for professional consults in order to support your clients too.
