provides individuals, corporations and organizations with funding ranging
from $25,000 to $250,000 to take innovative and unconventional approaches
to develop, incubate and scale potential solutions to housing challenges

Part of the program's role is to deepen Solutions Lab participants’
understanding of specific housing challenges by exposing them to the
perspectives of other participants. By enabling groups to work together,
the Labs can develop collective, relevant and responsive solutions to these
challenges. The successful solutions will support the strengthening of the
affordable housing sector across Canada.
Proposals must be related to the *NHS’s key priority areas*

focus on the following groups, which have been under represented in
previous years:

   - women and children fleeing domestic violence;
   - members of the LGBTQ2+ community;
   - veterans; and,
   - people dealing with mental health or addiction issues.

Le programme vise entre autres à approfondir la compréhension des défis
particuliers en matière de logement par les participants aux Laboratoires
de solutions en les exposant aux perspectives d’autres participants. En
permettant aux groupes de travailler ensemble, les Laboratoires peuvent
générer des solutions collectives, pertinentes et évolutives aux défis en
matière de logement. Les solutions retenues soutiendront le renforcement du
secteur du logement abordable partout au Canada.
