To support and meet the ongoing demand for single adults experiencing homelessness over the short-term, Housing Services will continue to operate temporary Physical Distancing Centres over the spring and summer months.



Staff are working to prepare Bernard Grandmaître Arena as a temporary Physical Distancing Centre to accommodate shelter placement needs with the upcoming closure of the Heron Road Physical Distancing Centre by end of April 2023.  We will keep you updated on the official transition date of the Heron physical Distancing Centre to the Bernard Grandmaitre Centre.

Pour soutenir et satisfaire la demande constante quant aux adultes célibataires en situation de sans-abrisme à court terme, les Services du logement continueront de gérer des centres temporaires de distanciation physique au cours du printemps et de l’été.



Le personnel travaille à la préparation de l’aréna Bernard‑Grandmaître pour en faire un centre de distanciation physique temporaire afin de répondre aux besoins de placement dans des refuges suscités par la fermeture prochaine du centre de distanciation physique du chemin Heron prévue d’ici la fin d’avril 2023. Nous vous informerons de la date officielle de transition du centre de distanciation physique du chemin du Héron au centre Bernard‑Grandmaître.
