"*Winning Affordable Housing for Your Community:  A Workshop Series”*



The goal of this series is to equip residents with the skills and knowledge
to effectively interact with key decision-makers in housing development,
including government officials, developers, and influential community
leaders. Residents will gain the ability to advocate for affordable housing
construction and policies that promote more affordable homes in their
neighborhoods.



We have six workshops planned for over the next few months, with some
flexibility about the order and timing:



*Workshop 1 – Tuesday, November 7, 2023, 7- 8:30 PM*:  The Landscape for
Affordable Housing Development: Development Processes, Policies

*Workshop 2 – Thursday, December 7, 2023, 7- 8:30 PM*: Types of Successful
Affordable Housing Initiatives

*Workshop 3 – Thursday, January 25, 2024, 7-8:30 PM*: Strategies for
Identifying and Building Relationships with Key Stakeholders: Government
and Developers

*Workshop 4 – Thursday, February 29, 2024, 7-8:30 PM*: Developing an
Effective Communication Plan for Engaging Key Stakeholders

*Workshop 5 –* *T**hursday, April 18, 2024, 7-8:30 PM*: Keeping
Stakeholders Accountable

*Workshop 6 – Thursday, May 2, 2024, 7-8:30 PM*: Topic to be finalized
based on feedback from participants about their interests and needs.
