Good Afternoon Everyone!


The Ottawa Mission and its partner agencies are offering Discovery University programming for Winter 2025. At this point in time, we are able to offer two courses. All courses will be offered in person at the University of Ottawa, beginning on February 7. 2025 and will run for 10 weeks.


  *   Introduction to Creative Writing - Taught by Nadia Bozak of Carlton University
  *   Philosophy of History - Taught by Jean Francois Methot of Saint Paul University.

In order to attend Discovery University, applicants must be experiencing homelessness or living on a low income, be over 18 years of age, have a willingness to learn, have stable mental health, and any addictions under control.

The Ottawa Mission is currently accepting applications to the above mentioned courses. Applications must be filled out completely and returned by email, or mail to the Ottawa Mission by Wednesday January 15 2025 at 4:00 P.M..
