Soul Space Offerings and Upcoming Events

Online Meditation for Community Carers coping with Grief and Loss:
In collaboration with True North Insight, Soul Space Ottawa offers a weekly online meditation and support group open to frontline workers who care for others and who may experience grief and loss. Appropriate for all, including those with no meditation experience. The intention of the session is to explore how mindfulness meditation can be a support with the emotions that arise in the care-giver role, and when living with grief.

This group offers an opportunity to connect & practice meditation in a welcoming space. The session begins with guided meditation and ends with an opportunity for sharing for those who wish to do so. You will be invited to care for yourself in these sessions, including the posture that you choose (sitting or lying down). The dharma offerings are chosen with care-givers in mind and what might be beneficial in supporting those who support others. Offered in English on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 8:30.
