[BCMA] Portrait of a Young Sculptor (Emma Soyer)

Has anyone encountered the following portrait, which vanished in 1933 in
Victoria and has not turned up since? A newspaper record from February of
that year describes the exact same picture ("Portrait of a Young Italian
with a Bust of William IV"), by Madame (Emma Jones) Soyer. We do know it
was sold by Reginald B. Webberley through the Empress Hotel, but I cannot
figure out who bought it, nor where it might have been ever since!

Any suggestions on where to expand my search would be enormously
appreciated. If it could be located, it would be a prime candidate for
inclusion in a prospective exhibition of Soyer's work.
