[BCMA] POMO Museum Presents: Importance of Fungi in your Garden by Naomi Higo August 20, 2026

Are you looking to support your garden’s growth? On August 20th, at 5 pm, POMO Museum welcomes Naomi Higo from Douglas College’s Institute of Urban Ecology to help you learn how fungi can support your plants at home. In this talk, we’ll cover questions like, how do mycorrhizal fungi help plants? How do plants help mycorrhizal fungi? And how can you help encourage mycorrhizal fungi in your home garden?
How Much? $10 (before tax)
What time? Check in begins at 4:30 pm, and talk begins at 5 pm.
Will there be drinks and food? concession will be available at the museum
