POMO Museum is hiring for a Museum Assistant Weekend Auxiliary.

A Museum Assistant helps create a welcoming, clean, and engaging experience for visitors at POMO Museum. This position focuses on front desk operations, visitor services, cleaning, retail sales, and supporting museum programs and events.
Between $18.25-$20.00 per hour, the successful candidate will also facilitate programs such as birthday parties, school visits, guided activities, and rentals. Depending on their background and experience, there may also be opportunities to assist with research, program development, marketing, public relations, content creation, and other museum projects.
Some of the key responsibilities include: Visitor Services & Museum Operations (1-2 years working in a client-facing position is preferable); Programs & Events (1-2 years working with children is preferable); Community Outreach; and more.
