Spring cleaning? Moving? Have no idea what to do with all that stuff you
don't want or cannot take with you? Interested in donating your used
furniture, clothes, books or household appliances to a great cause?

The Society for Corporate, Environmental and Social Responsibility (CESR)
will be holding its fourth annual "Dump and Run" garage sale on Sunday,
April 30. Items are donated by students and other members of the community
and are then resold, and all proceeds are given to charities and non-profit
groups.

This year's event will take place at the Studley Gym on the Dalhousie
campus, next to the houses of the Economics Department at the end of
University Avenue. The hours for the sale are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Items for donation can be dropped off at the Studley gym Thursday, April 27
and Friday, April 28 from 9-12 or 1-9 and Saturday, April 29 from 9-9. If
you have large items to donate and no way to transport them, call 494-6899
or email cesr at dal.ca to arrange for pick up. On Sunday, April 30, delivery
will also be available for items purchased at the sale.

The organizers also are seeking volunteers to help with the event and
donations for the event. Please consider donating your time and reusable
items to this worthy cause. Volunteers are needed during the week of April
24.
