OPEN PIT MINING verses HUMAN RIGHTS
in Sipakapa, Guatemala

Friday, April 28th
7-9pm
Lutheran Church of the Resurrection
2096 Windsor St. (Corner of Windsor and Allan St.)

Come and hear first-hand testimony from Sipakapa, Guatemala - a
community affected by Glamis Gold, a Canadian-US mining company.
Guatemalan community leader Juan Tema, on tour with Rights Action, will
present the impact of mining in his community, and how Canadians can act
in solidarity with Sipakapa.

Hear about the profits Glamis Gold has made through its open pit,
cyanide-leaching mining operations at the expense of human rights and
environmental well-being; about community consultations and RESISTANCE.
