1. *Give the Gift of Wind Power*

Wind Power *Do you envision a future that is healthy and free of
pollution? Looking for a unique gift for environmentally conscious
family and friends?*

This year, share your vision of a clean energy future by giving Pembina
Wind Power Certificates.

Wind Power Certificates are an unusual and extraordinary gift. When you
buy Wind Power Certificates as a gift for your friends and family, they
will receive a beautiful personalized certificate acknowledging that
wind power is being delivered to the grid on their behalf. They will
also receive a package explaining the benefits of clean wind energy and
how this gift supports further development of the wind power industry.

Wind PowerEach certificate represents the environmental benefits of wind
power — a source of zero-emission electricity. By giving a gift of Wind
Power Certificates, you help to support renewable energy development in
Canada. Please note that because the certificates represent the
environmental benefits of wind power delivered to the grid, purchasing
certificates does not alter how electricity is billed or delivered.

2. *A Holiday Gift That Will Make a Difference*
Woodland Caribou Threatened by Oil and Gas Development

seismic linesAs you prepare to make your year-end contributions or look
for the perfect gift for family and friends, consider making a donation
to Pembina, a holiday gift that will make a difference.

Please click here <http://www.pembina.org/donate/index.php> to make your
gift today!

We will acknowledge your gift with a beautiful certificate in your name
or your gift recipient's name.

Your donation will support Pembina's efforts to stop the decline of
caribou populations by protecting critical habitat and minimizing the
impacts of oil and gas development.

caribouWoodland caribou are found across Canada's northern boreal
forest, from the Yukon to Newfoundland. But the woodland caribou are a
species at risk. The cumulative effects of oil and gas development —
particularly oil sands mining and in situ operations — are contributing
to habitat fragmentation and destruction. In Alberta, some herds have
declined by over 50% in 10 years.

The Pembina Institute depends on your generosity to help protect the
woodland caribou and other species from the impacts of oil and gas
development.

*Your year-end contribution will allow us to continue this very
important work.* Please click here
<http://www.pembina.org/donate/index.php> to make your gift. *Thank you.*

3. *SPUD Cooks up a Great Fundraiser for Pembina*

If you're from Calgary, you can support both Pembina and Small Potatoes
Urban Delivery (SPUD) -- AND win $100 worth of organic groceries,
delivered to your door!

SPUDSPUD is Canada's leading organic grocery delivery service. From
December 1 to 31, SPUD is donating $2 to Pembina for each eligible
new-to-SPUD web site visitor from the Calgary area. Each new visitor
will be entered into a draw for $100 of local groceries. Simply go to
www.spud.ca <http://www.spud.ca/> and click on the "you click. we
donate" button. No purchase is necessary.

SPUD helps lower harmful vehicle emissions that contribute to climate
change, and reduces traffic congestion (SPUD estimates that one van
carrying 50 orders can eliminate half the cars in a grocery store
parking lot). SPUD's aim is to raise $2,000 for Pembina, so please pass
on the contest details to your friends. Also, SPUD is donating 5 per
cent of all gift certificate sales up to December 31, 2006 to Pembina.
Visit www.spud.ca <http://www.spud.ca/> to see their wide range of
products. This winter fundraiser is SPUD's way of supporting the Pembina
Institute's vision of a more sustainable energy future.

Best of the season and thank you for your help. If you have any
questions please contact Sandra Gomez, Development Officer, Annual
Giving (sandrag at pembina.org) or 403-269-3344 ext. 124.
