An opportunity to get together, share and learn with other people who work, as leaders, to change the world!
Independent Facilitators Gathering
March 2-4; Friday 7pm to Sunday 1pm
Tatamagouche Centre, Nova Scotia
Independent facilitators and consultants often work alone without the opportunity for feedback from colleagues and peers who understand the challenges and opportunities related to working with groups. Busy-ness insulates you from the new innovations and inspiration that grounds and renews. This gathering invites a wide range of facilitators to share techniques, engage in story-telling and build community. It will be an opportunity for renewal, inspiration, reflection, skills development and solidarity - and to enjoy, for a time, just being a participant, instead having to be the leader.
Leadership: Paula Gallant is an adult educator specializing in community development, intercultural learning and leadership development. She strives to lead and collaborate with humility and compassion, honouring others, herself and the environment. Darren Brown also works internationally in intercultural leadership development and cultural competence, with the warmth, playfulness and depth of the broadly integrated leader. Paula is a PE-Islander, and Darren hails from the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia. Cost: $315 (includes all meals, accommodations, materials).
