Southern Gulf of St.Lawrence Coalition on Sustainability

The Coalition is organizing an exciting workshop: Planning for 
Sustainability: From vision to action at the community level 
(www.coalition-sgsl.ca/workshop) to be held at the Museum of Industry in 
Stellarton, NS on May 24–26, 2007. Register before April 15 for a discount 
and a chance to win a prize!

The workshop which coincides with the Coalition’s annual general meeting 
will take place at the Museum of Industry in Stellarton, NS. It is designed 
to promote and exchange practical sustainability tools, resources, 
information & products and will highlight municipal and community efforts to 
incorporate social, economic and environmental sustainability practices into 
local-level planning.

Highlights of the event include:
- Keynote speaker: Chris Maser, a renowned sustainability author and 
international lecturer
- Presentations from credible speakers covering topics from sea-level rise 
to sustainability planning
- A one-hour hands-on workshop delivered by Chris Maser on how to develop a 
vision statement
- Tradeshow with regional entrepreneurs promoting their sustainability 
products and services
- Field trip to Munroe’s Island led by Dr.David Garbary of St.F.X.
- Simultaneous translation and plenty of networking opportunities

Coalition pour la viabilité du sud du Golfe du Saint-Laurent

La coalition organise un atelier formidable intitulé Planification pour la 
viabilité : de la vision à l’action au niveau communautaire 
(www.coalition-sgsl.ca/workshop) du 24 au 26 mai 2007. Elle sera tenue au 
Museum of Industry à Stellarton, Nouvelle-Écosse. Inscrivez vous avant le 15
