GreenYards is a project created by Clean Nova Scotia to provide free
sustainable landscaping education to homeowner's. A GreenYards
assessment evaluates the homeowner's current landscape maintenance
practices and site conditions. On the property and in the final report,
a CNS staff identifies areas of concerns and recommends cultural
practices that will reduce maintenance, improve soil fertility, and
encourage biodiversity. The organization currently is accepting a
limited number of applications from HRM residents. You can inquire by
