       & Eco-Cleaning Specialist

Company Description: HolistiClean is an environmentally 

friendly, non-toxic cleaning service in Halifax that caters 

to private homes and small businesses. We use products 

that are safe for the environment, our staff and our clients. 

We travel by bicycle to minimize carbon emissions and we 

pay our staff a fair wage. HolistiClean is a growing business 

that focuses on quality in our cleaning service as well as 

efficiency and seeks to create long term meaningful 

relationships with our hard working staff.

(1) Manager

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Position Type: Part time for training (approx. 4

weeks) then full time (25-35 hrs/wk)

Job Description: The manager will begin training as

a member of the eco-cleaning staff so that they learn the

HolistiClean way then will begin training for the managerial

duties.

Managerial Duties include but are not limited to:

- Leading the team of eco-cleaning specialists.

- Interacting with current and potential clients.

- Performing consultations/quotes at potential client's homes/offices.

- Ensuring staff deliver consistently excellent cleaning services.

- Making the weekly schedules.

- Taking care of all payroll duties.

- Occasional cleaning when understaffed.

- Using a bicycle as their sole means of transportation.

- Making sure the company has all the necessary supplies

and equipment.

Pay: The position starts at $13/hr for training, and

upwards from there.

Qualifications:

- Management experience an asset but not required.

- Customer services and sales experience an asset.

- Leadership experience a must.

- Must be open to riding a bike through 4 seasons.

- General knowledge of bicycle mechanics.

- An outstanding work ethic.

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)

- A motivated self-starter.

- Have a great interest in and knowledge of environmental issues.

- Be willing and able to work from home.

(2) Trainer/Eco-Cleaning Specialist

Position Type: Full time (25-35 hrs/week)

Job Description: The trainer/eco-cleaning specialist

will first go through a paid training process where they

learn how to clean the HolistiClean way. Individuals will be

responsible for all tasks involved in cleaning a house or

small business and will travel by bicycle with all of the

equipment in a trailer.

Pay: The position starts at $11/hr for training, and

upwards from there

Applicants must:

- Be kind and sociable.

- Have leadership experience.

- Be very comfortable with the idea of riding a bicycle

around Halifax through 4 seasons.

- Own or have access to a 10 speed bike (or higher) that

they are comfortable with.

- Be in good physical shape.

- Have an interest in environmental issues.

(3) Eco-Cleaning Specialist

Position Type: Full time (15-30 hrs/week)

Job Description: The eco-cleaning specialist will be

a member of the full time eco-cleaning staff. They will

first go through a paid training process where they learn

how to clean the HolsitiClean way.

Pay: The position starts at $10/hr for training, and

upwards from there.

Applicants must:

- Be kind and sociable.

- Be very comfortable with the idea of riding a bicycle

around Halifax through 4 seasons.

- Own or have access to a 10 speed bike (at least) that

they are comfortable with.

- Be in good physical shape.

- Have a very good work ethic and know the meaning of doing

a job right the first time.

- Have an interest in environmental issues.

Start Date: Interviews will begin September 8th.
