Please distribute this event information to students, professors,
researchers, and others who may find it of interest.

This is a FREE event for students, and we'll be arranging pickups at various
campuses throughout the day. Here are the cliff's notes (more info at
www.esans.ca/events):

*GREEN HORIZONS 2009: ACADEMIC EXPO & INDUSTRY TRADE SHOW*
*Pier 21, 1099 Marginal Rd., Halifax*
*March 24 from 3 pm to 7 pm* with regular presentations by Academia,
Government, & Industry. Cash bar and live music starting at 5 pm (
www.leepark.ca, 2 musicians from the Klezmorim group)
*March 25 from 9 am - 6 pm *with regular presentations by Academia,
Government, & Industry

*Intent*
Unite government, industry, and academia, for the purpose of bringing bright
minds together to ensure continued collaboration and advancement in the
environmental field. Effective interaction among these groups is critical to
shaping the horizon of our environmental future.

*For Students*: This event will enable students to identify government
departments and companies that are aligned with their career aspirations.
Get your foot in the door for the best jobs!

*For Professors/Researchers:* This event will enable professors and
researchers to identify government departments and companies that can assist
with research initiatives. Academia will have key speaking timeslots to
present research in progress and present opportunities to involve government
and industry in available research opportunities.

*FREE TRANSPORTATION*
ESANS is providing free return transportation for up to 50 representatives
from each school to attend this event. Register today to secure your spot on
the dedicated bus that will pick up at your school! Buses will be departing
and returning to Cape Breton University, Nova Scotia Agricultural College,
St. FX, and Acadia, as well as local pickups at Dalhousie, St. Mary’s, Mount
St. Vincent, and NSCC in Dartmouth.
