[Sust-mar] Sackville Rivers Association - Call for resumes for Summer 2010

The Sackville Rivers Association (SRA) is a community group based out of
Lower Sackville that will be hiring students for summer work starting in May 2010.  We are issuing a call for resumes to keep on
file for the summer work season.  All
resumes that are received will be considered for all open job positions.

 

Some of the job opportunities that arise are:

Running scientific studies.

-      
Water quality testing.

-      
Surveying the watershed for potential habitat improvement
projects.

-      
Lobbying government.

-      
Public awareness campaigns.

-      
Running a habitat restoration work crew.

-      
Working on a habitat restoration work crew.

-      
General work of the SRA.

-      
Running the SRA Atlantic salmon fish counting ladder.

 

For anyone interested in a career in the environment,
biology, a challenging job and working outdoors, the SRA is a great place to gain
experience.
