Hello Wilderfans!

The Wilderbeats are putting on a special concert on Saturday, May 1st at the Halifax Christian Church, 51 Farnham Gate Road in the Clayton Park area of Halifax. Farnham Gate Rd. runs off Dunbrack Street.

Show-time is 2 pm and admission is $5/person or $15/family.

This event supports Wilderbeats fan Gail Lomas in her upcoming trek to a base camp of Mt. Everest in Nepal with the Arthritis Society's Joints in Motion program this October. She has currently raised 38% of her goal of $10,000.
The Joints In Motion program helps The Arthritis Society fund research and training programs in each of Canada's 16 medical schools. This support enables doctors and scientists to pursue and expand their knowledge of arthritis and helps educate family physicians about rheumatic diseases. Joints In Motion funding also assists in the establishment of patient self-help and information programs to help people with arthritis learn more about their disease and its treatment and live a better quality life.

What's in it for Gail?

Return airfare to the event, Shared hotel accommodations, Inspiration in a group training environment, Tailored training program, Participation entry in the event,Team Canada Hero Reception, Fund-raising support and materials, *Mondetta Joints In Motion apparel, Nutrition and injury prevention counseling, Friends that will last a lifetime.
