PRÉSENTATION SUR LA CULTURE DES GRAINS


 avec Jean-Guy Poirier de la ferme Champdoré et Bernard Thériault 

 Le 17 mai, 2010 à 19h, aura lieu une présentation informelle sur les
techniques utilisées pour cultiver des grains tels que les blés Acadia et
Red Fife et les étapes pour les transformer en farine.

 

La présentation sera à la ferme Champdoré au 74 ch. T. Babineau
Grande-Digue, NB (à partir du chemin Babineau.) Il y aura de la farine
locale à vendre sur place.

La présentation sera en français. Tou.te.s bienvenu.e.s

Pour ceux et celles qui voudraient tenter l’expérience de produire leurs
propres grains, un nombre limité de parcelles de terre de 6’ X 20’ sont
disponibles à la ferme Champdoré au cours de la prochaine saison. SVP
appelez pour réserver votre parcelle.

There will be an informal presentation on the basics of growing grain such
as Acadia and Red Fife wheat on May 17, 2010, 7pm. The presentation will
cover the steps from seed sowing to flour making. 

The presentation will be at Champdoré farm -74 T. Babineau Rd Grande-Digue,
NB (off Babineau Rd). Local flour will be for sale on site. 

This activity will be in French.

For those who want to give grain growing a try some 6’ X 20’ parcels at
Champdoré Farm will be available this season on a first come first serve
basis. Please call to reserve your parcel.
