***Water, Woods, Work. Getting out what we put in!***

This year the Nova Scotia Environmental Network (NSEN) will be co-hosting
the Annual Gathering with the Atlantic Chapter of the Sierra Club of Canada
and Pictou County Watershed Coalition (PCWC).

The theme for this year’s gathering is "Water, Woods, Work. Getting out what
we put in". 
We’ll be gathering in Scotsburn, Pictou County, Nova Scotia at the beautiful
Stonehame Lodge, on Friday, September 10 to Sunday, September 12, to learn
about environmental issues, rejuvenate ourselves and prepare for another
year of organizing around environmental issues in Nova Scotia! 

Some highlights on the agenda include:
- Toxic Tour of Boat Harbour and area
- Keynote address from NS Government Leader
- Panel on Sustainable Forestry 
- Youth action and engagement workshop
- NSEN Caucus meetings
- Film Screening: Living Downstream


Friday evening: Local-food supper, dance & live music at Gammon Community &
Recreation Centre 

Saturday: Toxic Tour of Boat Harbour, BBQ Lunch at Pictou Landing,
Sustainable Forestry Panel, NSEN AGM, Living Downstream film screening at
Stonehame

Sunday: NSEN Caucus Meetings (great time to meet face-to-face with your
fellow caucus members!) at Stoneham, bus tour and hike to Red Tail
