[Sust-mar] Active-8! Campaign: Pledge to Take Action

Pledge to take action during International Development Week! From now until
February 13th visit www.active8campaign.com
<http://www.active8campaign.com/>  to say what you will do to create a
better world...then do it!

Leading by example, eight youth from the four Atlantic Provinces who stand
out as active global citizens and models of civic engagement are profiled on
the website. Each of these Global Youth Ambassadors is leading a team to
encourage as many Atlantic Canadians as possible to pledge an action. Read
about their efforts to bring about change and then contribute your own
action- large or small.

Pledges should be somehow related to achieving the Millennium Development
Goals and implemented during International Development Week (IDW). At the
end of IDW the Active-8! Team with the most action pledges will win a prize
of $1000.
