Dalhousie University's Elizabeth May Chair in Sustainability and
Environmental Health invites you to participate in the 6th Annual
Sustainability and Environmental Research Symposium on Thursday, March 25th
2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.
The symposium will be held in the Great Hall at the University Club where
Dr. Rick Smith, Director of Environmental Defence and author of the book
Slow Death by Rubber Duck, will be giving a keynote address about toxic
contaminants and human health. The address will be followed by research
poster presentations and a reception with environment and sustainability
experts.
This event is a great opportunity to get informed about current environment
and sustainability research projects conducted at Dalhousie University and
at other institutions in Atlantic Canada. We hope to facilitate a unique
networking opportunity through the symposium for students, faculty and
community alike.
