Position: Executive Assistant

Location: Sussex, Fredericton or Moncton, New Brunswick

Are you interested in learning, connecting, engaging with the multifaceted groups, individuals, agencies and organizations working on the varied environmental issues in the province?

Do you like working with people, organizing meetings, and have experience in teamwork?

The NBEN (http://www.nben.ca) is a dynamic and innovative organization that functions as the New Brunswick's environmental movement's "central station" -- and we are currently looking for a motivated and well-organized individual interested in environmental issues in New Brunswick to fill the position of Executive Assistant (EA). The EA will assist the Executive Director in the delivery of numerous initiatives currently underway.

The ideal candidate will be well-organized, independent yet experienced in team work, will have experience in communications and networking processes, and will be able to work in a multifaceted environment where the digital interface is an integral part of the work.

Job requirements:

* 2 years minimum in the non-profit sector (management position)

* experience in networks or network processes

* excellent computer skills (including websites, facebook)

* can work independently

* excellent communicator

* Bilingualism preferred, but uni-lingual individuals are invited to apply

The position will be filled for 6 months, with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate can be located in either Sussex, Fredericton or Moncton.

Salary:

16$ to 20$/hr, depending on qualifications

start-up -- immediately

Le RENB (http://www.nben.ca) est une organisation dynamique et innovatrice qui fonctionne comme une « station centrale. » Nous recherchons présentement une personne motivée et bien organisée qui serait intéressée par les enjeux environnementaux du Nouveau-Brunswick pour qu'elle remplisse le poste d'adjoint ou d'adjointe à la direction (AD). Cet AD assistera la directrice générale dans la mise en œuvre de nombreuses initiatives présentement en cours.

Le ou la candidate doit savoir bien s'organiser, être autonome tout en sachant travailler en équipe, avoir de l'expérience avec les processus de communication et d'établissement de réseau et d'être capable de travailler dans un environnement aux facettes multiples où l'interface numérique est une partie intégrale du travail.

Exigences de l'emploi

* Expérience minimum de 2 années avec le secteur sans but lucratif (poste de gérance);

* Expérience dans les réseaux ou avec les processus des réseaux;

* Excellentes compétences en informatique (y inclut sites Web et Facebook);

* Capable de travailler de façon autonome;

* Excellent communicateur ou communicatrice;

* Bilinguisme préférée, mais personnes unilingues peuvent poser leur candidature.

Le poste doit être rempli pour 6 mois avec une possibilité d'extension. Le candidat ou la candidate choisie peut habiter Sussex, Fredericton ou Moncton.

Salaire : de 16 $ à 20 $/h selon les compétences;

Début : immédiatement.
