ACAP Cape Breton Computer Giveaway

 

ACAP Cape Breton will hold a computer give-away on Tuesday, July 26th at
9:30 a.m. at our Centre for Sustainable Communities on 582 George St.,
Sydney.

 

The raffle system will be used to give away approximately 25 complete
systems (monitor, tower, keyboard and mouse). Adults who attend will receive
one ticket each, and the draw will take place as soon as tickets are
distributed. There are no guarantees, warranties or exchanges.

 

ACAP Cape Breton's Electronics Recycling Program (ERP) continues to be
highly successful in giving a second life to used electronics. Over 125
refurbished personal computers have been distributed to the general public
so far in 2011, as well as various other electronics. Since the program's
inception, thousands of recycled computers have been given back into the
community.
