Mark your calendars now – Falls Brook Centre’s third annual Free
School is *less
than a month away!*



*What?*

Free School is a celebration of the idea that everyone is a teacher and that
we all have a lot to learn. There are no experts – instead, we are
*all*encouraged to share our knowledge, experience and ideas through
workshops,
demonstrations and discussions.

*Where?*

Falls Brook Centre, an organic farm and education centre in Knowlesville,
New Brunswick.

*When?*

Friday, July 15 to Sunday, July 17

* *

*Who?*

The Falls Brook Free School welcomes youth, families, elders, professionals
and amateurs alike for a weekend of sharing and learning something new, all
while having fun!



*New this year* will be guided tours of local farms and a Clothing Swap!
Bring all the clothes you don’t wear anymore and trade them in for
new-to-you items in return! Everyone wins! You get rid of your old clothes,
you get new ones to bring home and the environment and other people around
the world are not worse off from producing new clothes from brand new
materials.



Some of this year’s learning opportunities and past favourites include:

·         Knitting Circle

·         Silk-screening

·         Yoga

·         Canvas Stretching

·         West African Drumming

·         First Nations Talking Circle

·         Kids’ Activities (Puppets, Cookie-making, Walk in the Woods)




The deadline for registration (free!) is *July 1st *for both teachers and

Camping is $10 per tent. Meals are $7 each.  Carpooling is strongly
