[Sust-mar] Natural Bee Keeping at Windhorse Farm

Windhorse Farm invites you to our natural beekeeping program led by expert honey beekeeper Ross Conrad from June 9-12. The program will start with an overview of the state of the beekeeping industry, discuss natural nontoxic methods to prevent disease, present basic methods to maintain a hive and finish with a day focused on advanced beekeeping topics including:

dividing a colony
making nucs
varroa mite: assessing hives, dealing with in natural ways.
more hands on with the bees & Ross Conrad (depending on weather)
working with swarms
developing a greater awareness of the bees
