INTERNSHIP / VOLUNTEER TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES

Position: Sustainability & Social Justice Educators / Cycling Tour Members
Organization: The Otesha Project http://www.otesha.ca
Location: various tours in Ontario, Nova Scotia & New Brunswick, Canada

The Otesha Project is seeking adventurous individuals to hop on their bicycles and spin the wheels of change with us!

Otesha Teams of a dozen or more driven volunteers will be touring around Canada on their bicycles, stopping in communities along the way to use hands on, interactive alternative education to engage and empower youth on issues of environmental sustainability and social justice. Otesha performs a play called Taking Action and delivers workshops exploring topics like food production, fair trade and biodiversity.

Tour Members will gain valuable experience in facilitation and leadership skills, public speaking, alternative education, bike touring, camping, and working with youth. Expect to brave the elements, push your limits, explore communal living, and maybe spontaneously craft up superhero costumes to bike around in.

2012 Tours:
* Rising Tide Tour, Fredericton -- Halifax, May 1st -- June 21st
* 9 day Pedal to Plate Tour, all ages, Ottawa region, July 7th-15th
* Water Works Tour, Kitchener-Waterloo -- Ottawa, Sept 1st -- October 22nd
* Phenomenal Food Tour, Kitchener-Waterloo -- Ottawa, Sept 1st -- October 22nd
