An evening introduction to permaculture with Graham Calder of P3
Permaculture Design - People for the Profit of the Planet.

Join the Katimavik Wolfville group on June 7th for an information session on
permaculture at the Wolfville Library C at P lab, 21 Elm Street, Wolfville.
The workshop will run from 7pm - 9pm. Please visit the P3 Permaculture
website at: www.p3permaculture.ca.

What is Permaculture?
It is a solutions-based design focusing on developing solutions for
transition, food security and techniques for climate change adaptation. It
uses sustainable principles observed in nature to guide the design for
thriving communities, in preparation for an abundant future.

Graham Calder was brought up on 75 acres of subsistence farm in Antigonish.
With a Ba in Human Environment, and a minor in ecology from Concordia
University, he completed his Permaculture Design Certification (PDC) with
Pacific Permaculture. After having founded his social enterprise - P3
Permaculture Design - in 2009, he then received an apprenticeship with Geoff
Lawton at the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia. It was there
that he also took his specific PDC Teacher Training Certification and
Earthworks certification. P3 Permaculture now enhances the application of
the people care ethic within its courses by supporting community groups and
sponsoring local farmers.

"What permaculturists are doing is the most important activity that any
group is doing on the planet." - David Suzuki
