INTERNSHIP / WORK-FOR-STAY OPPORTUNITY

Position: Assistant to the manager (person or couple)
Type: internship / work-for-stay opportunity with room, board & stipend

Location: Sandy Bay, E. Port L'Hebert, South Shore, Nova Scotia

We're looking for one person or a couple to help in all aspects of operation of the Harrison Lewis Centre from April through October. Our purpose is to put on workshops relating to natural history and to impart small farming, homestead, gardening, and woodlot management skills while making room for wildllife.

We can provide off-grid cabin, or small bedrooms in the main house, board and stipend.

Wide-ranging duties, from gardening to landscaping, painting, housekeeping, to arranging workshops and other events.

Must be able to work without supervision and know how to have a good time without being entertained. The more skills you can bring, the better.
