Tuesday August 20th @ 6:30pm. Meet at the Woodlawn Public Library, 31 Eisener Bldv., Dartmouth NS. Come
join friends, neighbours and Clean Nova Scotia staff for a cleanup of Ellenvale
Run. This is a great way to help the environment while beautifying your
neighbourhood and having fun at the same time! There will also be an
opportunity to learn about water quality and aquatic animals that are important
to stream health. Clean Nova Scotia has actively restored fish habitat in
Ellenvale Run since 2006. Removing garbage from in and around the stream is an
important part of improving the habitat and local environment. Gloves and refreshments will be provided but participants are asked to bring sturdy footwear and raingear if needed.
For more information, please contact Wil Brunner, Stream Restoration Coordinator at Clean Nova Scotia: 902-420-7961 or jwbrunner at clean.ns.ca.
