The Coastal Zone Canada 2014 Conference, to be held from June 15-19, 2014,
will mark the 20th anniversary of the first CZC conference. CZC 2014 will be
held in the beautiful and historic coastal city of Halifax, Nova Scotia,
where it all began in 1994. The conference theme is Our Coasts: Legacies and
Futures. You can contribute to this exciting event!

Oral and poster abstracts are now invited on the following sub-themes:
1.. Blue Economy: Working Waterfronts, Coastal Infrastructure and Resource
Management
2.. Coastal Communities: Social and Human Dimensions of the Coast
3.. Environmental Impacts: Climate Change, Human-Induced Challenges and
Community Responses
4.. A Focus on the Arctic: Ecological, Social, Economic and Political Change
5.. Governance, Policy and Law-Making: Managing our Coasts and Oceans
6.. Knowledge and Information: Data Use and Accessibility, Information
Management
7.. Marine and Coastal Ecosystems: Understanding the Complexity of
Biological and Physical Coastal Environments
8.. Security and Risk Management: Managing Uncertainty
9.. Social Media and Outreach: Reaching and Educating the Public Domain

The deadline for oral and poster abstract submissions is 16 December 2013.

La conférence Zone côtière Canada 2014, qui se déroulera du 15 au 19 juin
2014, soulignera le 20e anniversaire de la première conférence sur les zones
côtières du Canada. ZCC 2014 se tiendra dans la ville côtière magnifique et
