Position: Experienced Handy Man/carpenter/wwoofer for tiny home building!
Type: work-for-stay opportunity / volunteer
Location: Bridgewater, Nova Scotia
We are looking for a volunteer/wwoofer to to help us with our tiny home from may 15 - june 15. If you are a wwoofer, or travelling on a budget... or are a carpenter, or are skillful, or somewhat experienced and are interested in spending a month living lakefront in rural Nova Scotia, keep reading... This would be a wicked opportunity to save money, live off the grid, experience rural Nova Scotia, learn alternative building skills, and spend time in nature. We are half finished our tiny home.... although small, we still have heaps to do and would love the help.
If you want more information, our profile is on the wwoof.ca site or you can email danielleinengland at hotmail.com for more info or call us 9025216214. We dont get to the internet very often but would be interested in setting up a skype date. Feel free to call us to discuss this opportunity or to ask any questions you may have.
In return for 4-5 hours of work a day, we will provide you with a beautiful lake front wooded setting for your tent or set you up in our unfinished tiny home and of course food. Unfortunately or fortunately (however you wish to look at it) we are off grid, so you would have to be comfortable with 'camping'. ie propane cookstove, wood fire, swimming in the lake, using an outhouse, no internet on-site, etc.
If you are travelling yet a carpenter by trade, althought we dont have much money, we could come to an agreement on payment that is fair.
We look forward to hearing from you!
