[Sust-mar] Bridgewater and Area Community Sustainability Network: Sustainable Households Public Meeting

*Sustainable Households On & Off the Grid*   Tues. Jan 21st, 6:30 - 7:30PM,
Bridgewater Town Hall, 60 Pleasant Street, Bridgewater



The Bridgewater and Area Community Sustainability Network will host a free
public presentation on how three local homeowners have created more
sustainable homes through innovative approaches to energy generation and
insulation as well as other sustainable practices. . Joanne Muron and
Patricia Sullivan will speak first about their journey building an off-grid
home, now affectionately named Kijiji Castle. Doug and Emily Liot will also
be speaking about their experience equipping their new home with a
geothermal system. Finally, Collene Dahlby and Gerald Cosgrove will add
their story about working to find the right balance of heating options in
their new slab home. Time will be set aside for Q&A after the presentations
and for hearing from others who would like to add information from their
home energy experiences.


The public meeting will be followed by the regular CSN meeting (from
7:30-8:15pm). All welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
