An Introduction to Permaculture – The Big Picture!
April 29 – May 1. 

Graham Calder from P3 Permaculture <http://www.p3permaculture.ca/>, Montreal, will guide participants through concepts and principals of permaculture design.
Course material, delicious meals and dorm accommodation: $220 (or $200 w/o accommodation)

Program Outline
Friday, April 29:  6:00 pot luck dinner   7:00- 9:00 (open-to-all presentation)
Saturday, Apr 30:  history, ethics, principles, and methods of permaculture design and what it looks like around the world. 
Sunday, May 1:  putting these ideas into practice looking at practical design strategies for local challenges in our homes and communities. 

Permaculture is a design system and philosophy which focuses on sustainable agriculture and cultural activities which maximize the interconnections, 
and outputs in any given area. This holistic approach mimics natural ecosystems where increased diversity and interconnection results in stronger, more resilient systems.
